As part of our effort to show our cultal heritage and the local tradition, we recommend for travellers that are traveling to the town of Monemvasia, a small visit to “Liotrivi”.
“Liotrivi” is a fully restored historical mansion that previously was the home of the family Ritsos, in which the world wide known poet lived during his childhood.
After the year 1930, the house was converted to an olive oil mill, which functioned until 1962. Today, it is a unique cultural museum, managing to keep its historical identity.

Information about their olive tree (origin, age, description etc.)
They can name their tree with a personal name of their desire or they can keep the same name of their tree.
Throughout the year the olive tree is nominated by a label with the name of the adopter and the tree.
We will keep them informed of the progress of their olive tree by sending them digital updated photos so they can share them with their family and friends. Also they will receive updates of the cultivation & labors.
Location coordinates in google earth of the olive grove where their tree is situated.
During the year, we will look after their olive tree: watering, pruning, cleaning, harvesting.
We offer them a full-board overnight stay (drinks are not included) during the harvest (from November 15th to January 15th) upon request, so they can visit us and help us with the harvesting of their olive tree and take with them their olive oil.
20% discount on any product in shop or Liotrivi.
They will receive 5 litters of high quality, cold pressed extra virgin olive oil from their own tree directly on their door. (If their olive tree does not fully produce in the year of their adoption, we guarantee that they will receive the same quality extra virgin olive oil from the other trees of the olive grove).
Usually we send the package in early December, at the beginning of the harvesting in order to be sure that they will have the best quality of olive oil and, also, before Christmas.
We provide different options of packaging according to their preference: 250ml tins, 500ml tins and 1 liter tins (rectangular or cylindrical) or 250 ml bottles and 500 ml bottles.
The bottles will have blank labels so they can write what hey want and give them as a gift. Packaging is included in the price.
Shipping is made through UPS which guarantees safe and fast shipping of their products. Shipping is weight-proportional and is not included in the final price.

For every adoption they help us to donate 1 litter olive oil for UNICEF.

For any tour is required a minimum number of participations in order to be materialized. In case of less participants our travel agency has the right to cancel the tour or to postpone the date in another with more participants.Last day of information about the materialisation of the tour can be 1 day before departure as some new last minute - bookings or cancelations can influence the tour.
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours in advance of the start date of the prebooked tour.
