Proti Island
Proti island is a small island SW from the town of Marathopolis and about 2 nautical miles from there. It is an uninhabited small island with many places to dive around it.
The island Proti, the monastery of Panagia Gorgopigi. According to tradition, the icon was found on the seashore of the island. Interestingly natural terrain first. The island, which was base for pirates, there are remains of ancient fortifications and ancient inscriptions on rocks (in the “written”).
Vourlia
Vourlia is a beautiful cove in the east side of the island. It is perfect for a check dive cause of the pool conditions in the area the blue crystal waters and the present of a 40m WW2 wreck in the middle called Anouar. The wreck is at 5 meter depth only. We make the overview and after the dive become a nice wall dive with corals and sponges on the wall.
HAZARDS:The dive site has a lot of touristic activity so many boats are passing over. The distance between the wreck in the middle of the cove and the wall must include buoy.

10:30 meeting in the Marathopoli village | diving center. Short briefing. Receipt of necessary equipment. Fill out a medical form-questinnaire and depart from the port for the island of Proti and the bay with the beach of Vourlia. The tour of the shipwreck and the surrounding area takes about 1 hour. About 12:30 - 13:00 return at our starting point.
This outdoor activity is available all year, depending the weather conditions and you can select your date during the booking process. We’ll then get back to you with the confirmation.

Basic physical condition : Your physical condition, no special physical condition is required. Nowadays diving is accessible to almost everybody. For safety reasons, each participant in a diving course will fill in, with the help of their doctor, a short medical questionnaire to ascertain if there would be an issue with diving.
No Scuba diving experience and license are required.
If you have any food ingredient allergy or allergy on other natural sources like egg bees,or any special meditation requirements, please let us know.
Minimum age: 10 years old.
Diving equipment :except for your swimsuit… all other equipment is lent to you when you take the course. This is included in the course price.
Children need to be accompanied by an adult.
Participants should feel comfortable in swimming and able to swimm.
For any tour is required a minimum number of participations in order to be materialized. In case of less participants our travel agency has the right to cancel the tour or to postpone the date in another with more participants.Last day of information about the materialisation of the tour can be 1 day before departure as some new last minute - bookings or cancelations can influence the tour.
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours in advance of the start date of the prebooked tour.
