AROUND THE HILLS OF KING NESTOR’S PALACE
We set out on tour from Costa Navarino resort, following narrow lanes through a lush valley with olive groves and a river lined with bamboo. After a steep ascent the tour reaches the hill with the palace of wise King Nestor, one of the prominent young leaders of the Trojan War. We pass through picturesque mountain villages where we will have a break for a coffee before descending through narrow canyons on trails and gravel roads back to the Navarino Dunes.
