Each exercise of the Callanetics is modified and adapted to the needs of the trainee. The goal is to mobilize and increase the range of motion of the joints, as well as to develop strength and flexibility, through the small consciously controlled movement safely.
The Callanetics method, proposed by TOM MYERS, creator of ANATOMY TRAINS, achieves in a very short time the development of deep muscle strength, muscular endurance, the correct alignment of the spine and the activation of the pelvic floor, while improving strength and flexibility, respectively, in a simple and at the same time dynamic way. Each Callanetics exercise is limited to specific muscle groups at a time, where with controlled and targeted minimal movement on the shafts, they are activated to the maximum of contraction or stretching each time.
Callanetics is an alternative form of exercise, without dangerous loads or vibrations, which makes it accessible to everyone, at any age, gender and physical condition, even to people who have never exercised before or who suffer from musculoskeletal problems.
You do not need any Gym equipment. Our gym is our own body.
The trainee gains control of his body from the first lessons and achieves the restoration of the correct posture and movement with a simultaneous change in his external image.
This tour is taking place in the castle of Kalamata in Greece, the castle of Geoffroi de Villehardouin I.A castle with a rich history on a rocky hill at the NW side of the city of Kalamata.An ancient acropolis existed on the hill before the Trojan war, and later a Byzantine fortress, but the ruins we observe today are the remains of the castle that was (re)built there in the beginning of the 13th century, during the Frankish occupation.
Here you will join us in the Castle of Kalamata at our Callanetics gym overlooking the dawn or sunset and the city of Kalamata.

This outdoor activity is available all year depending the weather conditions and you can select your date during the booking process. We’ll then get back to you with the confirmation.

Departure time : 08:30 a.m. ( Morning sessions) or dep.17:30 p.m. ( Afternoon sessions) during April till October.
Meeting time and information will be advised by sms or email one (1) day before the departure of your tour.
Basic physical condition.
No gym experience required. Light walking is nessecery.
Children need to be accompanied by an adult.
Participants should feel comfortable in training and able to gym.
For any tour is required a minimoum number of participations in order to be materialized. In case of less participants our travel agency has the right to cancel the tour or to postpone the date in another with more participants.Last day of information about the materialisation of the tour can be 1 day before departure as some new last minute - bookings or cancelations can influence the tour.
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours in advance of the start date of the prebooked tour.
Social distancing is maintained in vehicles up to 65% of the total capacity per vehicle ( taxi-minivan-minibus-bus)
The number of visitors is limited to reduce crowds.
