We meet at the entrance of ancient Olympia and we show you a short live demo of the VR use.
You pick up the vr glasses from Ancient Olympia.
After a short demonstration of the way to use them you will visit the Archaeological Site.
GUIDANCE
Audio directions will guide you in the Site to help you find all the monuments. Additionaly a virtual map in the vr glasses will show your location and the location of every monument.
VR GLASSES
Stand in front of every monument and use the vr glasses to see how everything was back then from the exact same spot. The feeling of presence is amazing.
AUDIO GUIDE
Listen to the most interesting stories for every monument in your language from a native speaker (English,French,German,Spanish,Italian,Greek).

A new way of experiencing Archaeological Sites is now available in Olympia.
Immerse yourself in the history of Ancient Olympia on a self-guided tour with virtual reality glasses and audio guide. Using the VR glasses you will see every monument in 3D as it was thousands of years ago. You will be surrounded by ancient people and have the chance to see Ancient Athletes training and competing in the Olympics. Stand in front of the ruins of the temple of Zeus and use the VR glasses to enter and admire the 12m tall statue of Zeus. 14 monuments in total will be activated and become available for you to enjoy in their full greatness.
The integrated audio guide will surprise you with many interesting stories for every monument.

*The VR glasses are very user friendly as everything activates automatically with GPS.

For any tour is required a minimoum number of participations in order to be materialized. In case of less participants our travel agency has the right to cancel the tour or to postpone the date in another with more participants.Last day of information about the materialisation of the tour can be 1 day before departure as some new last minute - bookings or cancelations can influence the tour.
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours in advance of the start date of the prebooked tour.
